This was a good one to see again. In times of life’s distractions or hardships, so often I can forget to slow down and be thankful. I need really only look around to see all the good gifts He has given, and to especially be reminded of the greatest gift of all, given in such great love for all men.
Phil, good reminder.
Lord, I praise you for your perfect grace and your mercies and your perfect love. Praising God helps in the trying times and the good times. “Whatever my lot thou has taught me to say, it is well with my soul.”
As I read His Word there is just so much to see always to thank and praise Him for, concerning so many things. Looking outside to all He has made each day gives many opportunities to think on, thank Him and praise Him for the many things He has given to us. Each night a new canvas painted, and in the morning another. His tender new mercies, the lovingkindness He commands each day, His song over us at night. I pray you are all sleeping, there is praise in the fellowship of other like minded believers that I might not get to meet in this lifetime, but I feel assured I will in the next. Thank You Lord 🙂
Thanks Jack!
John
John,
Shirley and I have prayed for your son and for your family.. we will continue to do so.
In Christ, Jack
Thanks Bruce and Jack.
He has had some symptoms of SVT (rapid heart rhythm), but it doesn’t seem to be too serious. That said, I would appreciate your prayers for him.
John,
We pray there is no problem with your son’s heart.
But this is a great time to give praise and thanks for our Savior, our God, our Provider, Protector, etc – I could go on and on.
In Jesus eternally, Jack
Hi John,
Thank you for that awesome report!
I trust that your son will be fine. Let us know if this is a prayer concern.
My sixteen year old son had a heart ultrasound today that I was privileged to watch. It was the first time I had seen his hear beat since my wife’s ultrasound when she was carrying him.
As I saw the intricacies of his heart working from every angle, I was in awe of God’s handiwork and I was reminded of the following verse of praise:
Psalm 139:14 (NKJV) “I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.”
Thanks Levi!
Blessings on you in the coming weeks.
.
Thank you Bruce
Your prayer made me rejoice…..Philippians 4:4
Thank you Sir
Thanks Pearl.
Wonderful to hear from you. I hope that you are well!
.
Such a powerfully persuasive plea, Bruce!
Being a subdued person myself, with a sort of dominant pessimistic undercurrent, an attitude of praise doesn’t habitually flow from my being. You both have provided plenty to ponder.
“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” 1 Thess. 5:18
Thanks Jack!
I praise God for our friendship and for this ministry.
Blessings friend,
Bruce
Yes, what a perfect, passionate, prayerful passel of praise for our Wonderful Savior. Praise Him!!
In addition I firmly believe that another most important and effective method of praise for our Savior is sharing His eternal salvation by Grace through Faith with others.
I must keep reminding myself that the world is lost — and every believer possesses that Good News of God’s Grace to share with the lost and confused.
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise. Proverbs 11:30
When I keep the Gospel hidden and unto myself there is less praise to my Savior.
But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 2 Corinthians 4:3
Thanks Bruce for those wonderful praise reminders, Jack
(Great alliteration too, BTW)!!! 😎
