Jesus Christ speaks:
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15
All of us here at our Oasis of Grace often express feeling of isolation because of a dearth of sound, Biblical church fellowship with other Believers. ExPreacherMan attempts to offer a small island of fellowship through abiding by an unwavering and uncompromising stand for the Gospel of our salvation — by God’s Grace through Faith in Jesus Christ alone — and NOT by our works of our righteousness in order to gain or keep Eternal Life. (Ephesians 2:8-9) (Titus 3:5)
The Administrators at ExPreacherMan.com strive to speak the Truth of the Gospel and expose the lies of Lordship “salvation,” Calvinism, “turn from sin probation-ism” and all other subtle (and some not so subtle) teachings which contradict the simplicity that is in Christ and His Word.
This morning I was looking over ExPreacherMan web statistics for the past 365 days.
I was thrilled to see how the Lord has used ExPreacherMan to share Jesus Christ worldwide. Our visitors include many from Islamic countries, China, India, Russia and others in the spiritually darkest areas of the world. Of course we realize some few of these Views represent nefarious spammers who attempt to trade on our worldwide outreach. But, even so, we pray that when these folks do visit, they will read and believe the Gospel, the Truth of God’s Salvation. (John 3:16) Pray for them – God loves them too..
Look over these statistics. Realize that your comments and explanations of God’s Word circle the globe and land in isolated and dark countries (even the spiritually dark USA). We humbly realize one thing before the Lord — we have an awesome responsibility to share that Truth clearly, accurately and without error.
We thank each of you for your part in this outreach. We are approaching half a million total views of ExPreacherMan since our modest beginning six years ago. We are all volunteers who love and are thankful for our Savior and His Precious Gospel Message — His Free Gift of Eternal Life. The Glory and Praise are to the Lord God Almighty.
Statistics for the past 12 months alone, as of 10/25/2013. ExP reached 184 different countries in the world.

Holly, I have found the same thing. It is gratifying to know that people are being reached and that there is a ripple effect.
I have found over the years there are many ‘lurkers’. Some good and some not so great, but you can be assured that many have been reached. I think of the outward ripples of the word ‘redound’ in this passage.
We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you. For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God. For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2 Cor 4:13-18
Jason, if I counted correctly, we have reached 143 countries in 2019, and there have been about 87 thousand views by 29 thousand individual viewers.
I am curious about the current statistics. Merry Christmas.
Phil, Merry Christmas to you as well!
I am thankful that Jack began this website and for the people who read and comment here.
This site is a special place for those with a heart for the gospel and it is good to be reminded that we do spread the gospel through this site.
Thank God for those like Jack, John, and others here at this Oasis of Grace. We may not always realize it, but we really do spread the gospel of salvation through this site: we may not always realize all the people we may be reaching via the internet whether by computer or other devises. Sometimes people who might shy away or walk away from hearing the gospel face to face may be more willing to read the truth of the gospel through this site. So I say, along with exposing false church teachings, we can also deliver the truth here- the good news that Christ has already provided forgiveness of all your sins and also eternal everlasting life for all who will believe the good news gospel that He died on the cross to pay the penalty for all our sins, he was buried, and he was raised from the dead. (Romans chapters 3 thru 6)
Merry Christmas
A couple of other thoughts on the above:
Lita said: “Because God has given us spiritual life, we begin to live in a way that’s consistent with that life due to the inward renewing of the mind and the Spirit’s enabling. ”
My comment: That doesn’t happen automatically. That’s why Paul wrote in Romans 12:2: “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
He is telling them how to be. Not how they will be!
Lita said: “We start to love God’s Word and to hate sin. We start to strive to obey in ways that would have been incomprehensible before.”
My comment: That is also something that is not automatic. That’s why we are admonished by Peter:
1 Peter 2:1-2: “Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:”
Lita said: “That doesn’t mean we don’t sin—we still sin all the time, and even fall into gross sin at times” and
“Otherwise you have a God who saves someone, but leaves them in the same filth of sin He found them in, and that is completely unloving and inconsistent with the God of the Bible.”
My comment: If a believer chooses to “fall into gross sin”, and they choose to persist in that sin, it is not God who “leaves them in the same filth of sin He found them in.” It is their choice.
Clear Gospel Campaign says it this way in its application for personal membership:
“I BELIEVE that God calls every believer to holiness in this lifetime, and strives to bring every believer to Christ likeness in this lifetime. Nevertheless, I BELIEVE that Christians can, and oftentimes do sin grievously, and that some genuinely saved persons abide in a lifestyle of sin. I REJECT as a perversion of the gospel the teaching that every true believer will, in this lifetime, automatically “persevere” in faith and good works or live up to some arbitrary minimum standard of holiness or good works.”
Lita said: “But God has given us new life, and He won’t allow us to stray forever.”
My comment: What about people represented by soil number 2 in the parable of the sower? The Bible says these people are believers.
If LIta is a believer, than that would mean that God would eventually rescue her from her Calvinist/LS error.
Jack and others i did not post my reply (did not want to make the post to long) to her that prompted this reply. here are a few points i ask her about
Here in my email to her is where i addressed the Lordship issue below.
the reason i believe as i have said, is that the wording here used on Creation Ministries website in the areas i have contacted you about. Uses the same wording lordship salvationist use and that is repenting, turning away from their sinful ways and acceptance of the risen Christ as Savior, Lord and God. If Creation Ministries does not believe lordship salvation is the correct presentation of what a person must do to receive eternal life, then why use the same terminology that lordship uses.
and you can see in her reply how she handled that statement.
I also ask her about this statement she made{Scripture is clear that one who continues in sin and does not repent is not saved (cf 1 John, for example)}
i ask her that this doe not appear in 1 John at all, the word repent is not in 1 John and she did not address this in her reply
and i showed her verse 1 John is about fellowship for believers 1 John 1:3 What we have seen and heard we announce to you too, so that you may have fellowship with us and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.
and i also ask her about her saying that faith was a gift from God, showing her several verses that shows eternal life is the gift, not faith (Romans 6:23, 1 John 5:11, Romans 5:15-18). and again you can see in her reply she still insist faith is a gift but showing no verses making that point.
I just want to thanks for the help and having a place where free grace believers can learn, discuss and grow.
Wow, not good news indeed, d taylor.
I will defer to others to comment in a more “substantial way,” but wow–how very deeply Calivinist of them. I didn’t want to say anything earlier because it was too fatalistic, but I’m not the least bit surprised it’s turned out this way. Ms. Cosner’s tone was very condescending and her use of the word “blunt” as directed at you earlier was a major red flag.
You keep being accused of having an agenda. Ahem, excuse me, but THEY seem to be the one with the agenda.
Mark and avoid, I say . . .
D Taslor,
Amazing how Lita Cosner claims they take no position on the Lordship Debate, yet she promotes Lordship “salvation” throughout her letter. However she may be ignorant of the real meaning of Lordship “salvation.” Maybe she needs to be confronted on whether she believes the individual points rather than the general term “Lordship ‘salvation’.”
Plus, she defends her Calvinist position on “So God must do everything to save us. Even faith is a gift that is granted to us..” That is a denial of the free will of man to choose whether or not to believe in Jesus. (John 3:16) “Whosoever believeth in Him…”
She threatens to “ban” you from the site… interesting.
In Jesus Christ eternally, Jack
Ok i did get a reply this morning thought i would post not good news
David,
Please understand; we take no position on the Lordship Salvation debate. We have said this repeatedly. I don’t know what more you hope to hear from us, and it seems that your single point agenda is looking for fault where none is to be found. We encourage you to take a deep breath and not be distracted, or attempt to distract us, from the big picture and also our specific calling which is battling against the theory of evolution and supporting God’s Word.
At the end of the day, surely you can agree that it is biblical to say Christ is Lord. It comes up literally hundreds of times in the NT.
Scripture is clear that we are saved by God alone; we can’t do anything. We’re spiritually dead apart from Christ; a corpse can’t do anything to help itself. So God must do everything to save us. Even faith is a gift that is granted to us. And after we are saved, we are continually dependent on God for spiritual life, because it is only through Him that we even remain in Him. No work can save us, or even help us remain in the faith. Is that clear enough?
But that does not mean that we go on living in the same way we used to live. Because God has given us spiritual life, we begin to live in a way that’s consistent with that life due to the inward renewing of the mind and the Spirit’s enabling. We start to love God’s Word and to hate sin. We start to strive to obey in ways that would have been incomprehensible before. That doesn’t mean we don’t sin—we still sin all the time, and even fall into gross sin at times. We never obey a single command of God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength; we fall short at every single conceivable point. If we had to do even one good work to save ourselves, no one would be saved. But God has given us new life, and He won’t allow us to stray forever. So the Christian life, this side of Heaven, is characterized by growing in our relationship with Him, by loving Him more, by obeying Him more, because that is what is consistent with the new life He has given us.
Otherwise you have a God who saves someone, but leaves them in the same filth of sin He found them in, and that is completely unloving and inconsistent with the God of the Bible. If true joy is found in being rightly related to our God and Father through the Lord Jesus (yes, Lord Jesus!), then if He loves us, isn’t He going to work in us to bring us into that relationship? Like I said, we’re sinful, we’re powerless, we’re as powerless to do this as we are to save ourselves. But don’t you see? Salvation is so much more than not going to Hell; Salvation is being conformed to the image of Christ; it’s being transformed into citizens of Heaven. And this is something that starts at the moment God saves us, but it isn’t finished until the Resurrection.
David, I understand that this is an important issue for you. But we’ve spent considerable time on this, and we can’t correspond on this matter anymore. I am also aware that you made a comment on my colleague Shaun Doyle’s article to the same effect. I hope that you can look past your bias to see the useful information on our site. But if this is still an issue, perhaps it would be best if you go somewhere else, because we simply can’t spend more time reassuring you about our position and motivations. And unfortunately if you keep persisting us in trying to push this single issue, we will have to ban you from our comments systems, which means you would be then unable to interact on other points.
Sincerely,
Lita Cosner

d taylor, it really is sad! I still can’t figure out why people acknowledge that Jesus is God, that He was crucified, buried, and rose again, yet reject the good news that He died for their sins.
Well my email i sent last night was not answered so i guess they do not want to face the truth about salvation by Faith alone in Christ alone.
thanks john I am still in discussion with CMI through email hope they will be open to what i am saying i replied today will let yall know if i receive another reply and what they say.
Wow on Ray and Sin and Creation Ministries and sin, what is their explanation I wonder for Romans 7? Oh well, they do not understand… Little snippy Lita was though for someone who doesn’t want to continue in sin 🙂
d taylor, is it this one?

John i believe you or someone here some time last week posted a couple verses about God giving the gift of eternal life can anyone provide where here that was posted thank you
So according to them, once someone is saved, that person no longer sins. SMH I remember reading about someone confronting Ray Comfort asking him “You mean to tell me that since you were saved in 1972 you haven’t committed one sin?” In which Ray didn’t refute it.
d taylor, they really have it wrong!
Thanks for taking a courageous stand for the gospel
Here is my reply i received from CMI
first here is the question i asked them.
i was sent a link to your website by a friend of mine about your killing Jesus post. usually when i do visit a site i check out what they believe concerning salvation to see if they are teaching lordship salvation and sadly i find that here with your site. as below your (c)theology area under 6. Salvation is a gift received by faith alone in Christ alone and expressed in the individual’s repentance, recognition of the death of Christ as full payment for sin, and acceptance of the risen Christ as Savior, Lord and God. repentance is a work and is not part of an unbeliever becoming a believer. you will not find repentance used once in the Gospel of John and what does John 20:30,31 say it. It says that this book The Gospel of John was written to tell people that by believing in Christ as the Messiah the person who believes has eternal life. over 150 times (in NT) when a condition is given for a person to receive eternal life the only condition is faith ,belief, trust in Christ alone
below is their reply sent to me today
Dear David,
The part of our Statement of Faith you refer to specifically states that salvation is expressed in the individual’s repentance, etc. To me, that suggests it is saying that the individual’s response to God’s saving work is to repent of sin. And Scripture is clear that one who continues in sin and does not repent is not saved (cf 1 John, for example). So I think you’re simply wrong about our Statement of Faith promoting ‘Lordship salvation’. And if I may be blunt, it might have been better to give us the benefit of the doubt and reading a few more article before coming in with your agenda based on a less than careful reading of one line of our website. I’m sure that if you check out some other articles on our site, you’ll find them to be theologically sound and biblically faithful.
Sincerely,
Lita Cosner

So far as I know it is possible to “tweet to” (in effect send a direct message to) anyone with a Twitter account. To do this one would (presumably) have to create their own Twitter account, as I’m pretty certain most if not all social networking sites only allow members to “directly participate.”
Metaxas and Keller… Mextaxas is the author of a book about Wilberforce, and one about Bonhoeffer. That is how I became acquainted with him. Calls him a Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy. He is ecumenical was on the board of Chuck Colson’s “Breaking Point” and his ‘conversion’ story was one of a fish who came to him in a dream, and of course as any good hyper Calvinist, believes he was regenerated I guess in his sleep.. So sad… These people are deceived and deceiving.
D. Taylor,
The link is to Brietbart who excerpted the Christianity Today article and linked to it.
I know little about Twitter but any sound Biblical information kindly delivered to Kirsten can help her trust Christ as her Savior. As a celebrity, she will obviously have lots of prominent LS friends, Metaxas, Keller and her boy friend.
In Jesus Christ eternally, Jack
Jack is that the article from Christianity Today?
What is sad is all the comments by people (on the articles about her story) who more than likely are in the same boat as she is in and that is never having believed the correct information about salvation and are placing their trust in no telling what. i agree fox is bad news along with all the others i notice she has a twitter account not sure how twitter works (i am not a member) but was wondering if questions can be asked through that to people. if so i wonder if she would respond.
Excellent contribution, Abe. I concur completely.
That Kirsten Power’s testimony, has nothing about Jesus being the only way to heaven, nothing about Jesus dying on the cross for our sins, nothing about Jesus raising from the dead, nothing about Jesus paying for our sins, nothing about believing in Jesus apart from works as the only way to be in heaven, nothing about unbelievers going to hell, nothing about Jesus being God.
In other words, her testimony has NOTHING.
What she became was, in her own words, was a “devout Christian” (what does that mean?) and a “follower of Jesus” (what does that mean?). She ended up with Tim Keller, who tells (not even remotely) amusing anecdotes for 30 minutes and then tries to get people to “follow Jesus” at the end of the speech. And then after that, she ended up with Eric Metaxas, a (secret catholic) man who writes for various works-based ecumenical organizations.
Her “conversion” was a fraud, but I pray she come to know Jesus truly as Savior based on His work, and none of her own. And I pray she be delivered from the false teachers that surround her in the fake “news” and entertainment world.
FOX News in my opinion, is controlled opposition, as it openly promotes catholic-based views on virtually everything, even being owned by a catholic man. They even have a catholic “priest” as a frequent panelist. I don’t personally trust FOX any more than I trust CNN or the rest of them. She’s a set-up, to get the curious to end up in catholicism or any other works-based lie, and to get undiscerning Christians to “rah rah rah” that yet another TV celebrity has “embraced Jesus”.
D Taylor
There was no evidence in that article that Kirsten was ever a “babe in Christ” as I mistakenly intimated. It seemed her “experience” was all “feelings.” She was mentored by Eric Metaxas and recommended Kathy Keller’s Bible Study (Tim Keller’s wife). Metaxas and Keller are on our list of false teachers.
In Jesus Christ eternally, Jack
D Taylor,
I tried reading the Brietbart article reporting Kirsten’s “conversion” But could not complete it. Keller is listed on our Wiki-Index of false teachers — Presbyterian Calvinist.
Brietbart article:
http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Journalism/2013/11/02/kirsten-powers-jesus
Some comments were that in her testimony Kirsten never gave a clear indication that she was trusting Jesus alone for her salvation. Seems like celebrity “conversions” are sometime suspect.
We should pray that as a babe in Christ, she will see and believe the Truth.
In Jesus Christ eternally, Jack
was (email)sent a write up about this
another celebrity christian has surfaced Kirsten Powers of the fox news channel.
I wonder if this is another lordship salvation conversion all i know is she is under a pastor from NY Tim Keller at Redeemer Presbyterian Church.
Just thought i would pass this along
FryingPan, Abe, D. Taylor and all,
One would think that with all of CMI’s world-wide multitudes of contributors and researchers on Evolution and the correct Biblical version of Creation, they could get the simplicity of repentance right. What a pity that folks will come to their site, use their resources and be drawn into a false “gospel” message.
In Jesus Christ eternally, Jack
Anytime someone adds a qualifier to a gift being free, it alters the definition and it’s no longer a gift. Are these folks able to see that? Apparently not. Neither are they able to see that “turn[ing] away from their sinful ways and trust in what Christ as done for us” is a total contradiction of “God offers this free gift of salvation to all who will receive it” Neither are they able to see that to turn away from one’s sinful ways is a work.
Matthew 15:14 clearly applies to these people: “Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.”
If the above verse doesn’t plainly apply to them, then to whom DOES it apply, I ask rhetorically.
Jack i did not see that but under (see also good news) and found this below.
A free gift? Is anything truly free?
God offers this free gift of salvation to all who will receive it. He calls upon all to turn away from their sinful ways and trust in what Christ has done for us. We can do nothing to remove our guilt before God (Romans 3:23). Doing good things does not remove our sin, and since we are all sinners, we can do nothing to undo that; it is only by the mercy of God that we can be saved through what He has done—it is a gift (Ephesians 2:8,9). Those who try to earn their own salvation apart from God’s grace (unmerited favour) will fail (Romans 9:32).
again they are calling for a turning away of sinful ways and trust Christ
D Taylor,
It appears that the book Killing Jesus is a mish-mash of fake Catholic “history” which bears no resemblance to the Biblical Jesus (false as you said). O’Reilly (the author) proudly presents himself as a Catholic but periodically objects to some of their dogma. He is terribly mixed up and the honest CMI reviews of his book reflect no Bible truth. I would not recommend it at all — even for bird cage covering.
I heard O’Reilly tell a TV interviewer that he was “inspired by the Holy Spirit” to write the book. That is preposterous.
I know very little about Creation Ministries (CMI) but under their Good News Gospel there is a statement:
This is obviously wrong doctrine since the word repentance has nothing to do with wanting to live a life pleasing to God.
In Jesus Christ eternally, Jack
Preston, I have seen this type of statement of faith before. I found one that said that salvation was by grace through faith in Christ, but then said that the Holy Spirit indwells those who accept Christ as BOTH Lord and Savior.
not sure where to post this so i will post in the latest topic.
(yall may already know about the site i am posting about)
had a friend pass a link along to me about a write up about the false book killing jesus any way the link was to the website creation ministries international (creation.com) . as a practice i always try and see when it comes to any christian site, do they have a statement of what they believe and this site does
under their (c) theology section
6. Salvation is a gift received by faith alone in Christ alone and expressed in the individual’s repentance, recognition of the death of Christ as full payment for sin, and acceptance of the risen Christ as Saviour, Lord and God.
as you can see another lordship group. the amazing part about their statement is how the second part completely contradicts the first part.
i sent them a comment about this and have not received a reply back
Preston, I feel for and with you. I have been through a number myself, and still wish I could find a ‘church’ but I have a good Bible study, and am very thankful for that. I pray it continues Lord willing. But if not, we’ll go from there and start one ourselves if He wants us to. God bless you as you keep “proving all things” 🙂
Preston,
Thanks for your observation:
If you have been attending a church for 3 months and have not heard the Gospel — that is a sad commentary on that church. It should be proclaimed several times at every service.
Duck Dynasty folks (Robertsons) are members of the “Church of Christ” who believe in baptismal regeneration – water baptism necessary for salvation as well as other false doctrines. Beware the Duck’s “theology.”!!
Here are some earlier discussions on the Ducks at ExP:
https://expreacherman.com/2013/09/04/lordship-salvations-demon-belief-that-does-not-save/#comment-20212
There are several prior comments — so follow the conversation there.
In Jesus Christ eternally, Jack
expreacherman bloggers,
I could use your help. I am on my 4th church in 4 years. Nobody can get the gospel right. Anyway, I have been attending a church for 3 months—have not heard the gospel yet but have not heard anything to contradict it.
On the screen today, I saw a slide that said, the gospel according to Duck Dynasty. I have seen comments on it and it would take me tons of time to find them.
can you folks give me the low down on this? It would save me tons of time and research. I trust you all. I will check back in the next 48 hours.
Thanks,
Preston
Curtis,
Thanks for that endorsement of our little Oasis of Grace here at ExPreacherMan.
We love our Savior Jesus and His Gospel of salvation by Grace through faith in Christ alone. And we love our friends and commenters. Some who visit do not agree with Scripture — but we pray they will continue and learn that Salvation is truly FREE!
God willing, we WILL contend for the faith!!
In Jesus Christ eternally, Jack
I am Thankful to find this blog after revival fall 2011 from a “repent of sins” revival ministry and taking issue with “repent of sins” and getting the boot from that assembly. I thought I was all alone but now I understand that God gives me more light as I seek more truth. there is so much about scripture I know I don’t understand the right way after learning most the wrong way. Finding myself relearning text’s of scripture that once bound me up are the same ones that now set me free. Thank you for all those who post on this blog and the moderators who run a tight ship for the simplicity of Christ and of the free Grace Gospel fighting for the Clarity of the Gospel.
Curtis
I concur with Preston. By Grace Alone, Through faith Alone in Christ…ALONE!
This is great news, as I saw some of the names of the different countries my parents have been in, I also couldn’t help but wonder if some who had believed were learning from your site.
May there be harvest here as some see that God loves them, and He sent His only begotten Son to die on the cross for their sins, in order that they might have eternal life. May they understand the simple truth that they need only believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and they shall be saved. Just like Jesus died and rose again, so will all believers in Christ.
This is encouraging. This site has definitely been life changing for me. I share posts to my FB page from time to time trying to spread the word.
Bryan.
Nanc,
Welcome — and it is great to hear from you again.
Thanks for y’all being such good friends and Beloved Sister/Brother in Christ for these past six years (more or less), standing for the Truth of the Gospel.
We Grace folks are in a minority with the world but a Majority with Christ. He wins!! I’ve read all the way to the end His Book.
Sorry Shirley and I never got by to sample your Hubby’s smoked and barbequed goodies before I was unable to travel. But if y’all are ever down our way — come on by.
In Jesus Christ eternally, Jack
Exciting and interesting. Thank you for the new post and the work that went into it, Jack.
Preston, I love that list of “ists”. A great way to put it . . .
Preston,
Welcome. Thanks so much for checking with ExP regularly and commenting. We appreciate friends who understand God’s FREE Grace and are not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ — for IT is the power of God unto salvation.
We promise to uphold our end by the immeasurable Grace of God.
In Jesus Christ eternally, Jack

3. Loose your salvationists
4. Endure to the end-ists
5. Foolish virgin-ists (second coming parable-church is gone)
6. even the devils believe-ists
7. James 2 – dead means unsaved – ists
8. Purgatory – ists
9. Jesus is not enough- ists
10. turn from your sin-ists
I NEED some justified FREELY by His Grace – ISTS!!!!!!!
Thanks everyone for posting and commenting. It really is GOOD support.
