Rick Warren, in his effort to be Ecumenical Pastor of the World, will be speaking to the Islamic Society of North America at their conference in Washington DC. on July 4, 2009, American Independence Day.
Do you suppose he will share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and ask these Muslims to trust Jesus Christ as their Savior? Don’t hold your breath.
Dare I say that Rick is interested in Rick and the subversive power he can exert in the world. Will he pray in the name of Isa, the Muslim “Jesus” as he did in the inaugural prayer for Barack Hussein Obama?
Article in The Indianapolis Star:
lisasnanna,
Thanks so much for stopping by. Please come again.
I appreciate your words. I pray many will trust Jesus Christ as Savior and heed your warning.

I am new to this site and am just beginning to read some of the post. May God, the ONE TRUE, and living God keep his followers safe through Jesus Christ. HE will if we try to follow the Good Shepard. Lets all start by praying to God, through Jesus Christ the arisin savior that lives eternally. Do we want to follow a dead prophet? I don’t think anyone really does. We can be mislead by smooth rethroic, scripted, displayed and read from a teleprompter. Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness. Their message will be like cancer. 2 Timothy 15-17
Thank your for your time in reading this post.
Lynda,
Thanks — Warren is such a tragedy.
And to be cozying up to and being an apologist for the Muslim faith on our Independence Day…
So Sad…

Rick Warren is a Laodecian pastor. The blind leading the blind straight toward the ditch, scratching the itching ears of those who ultimately reject the Truth!
Woe to false teachers of apostasy! What a horror to hear these words from the Lord Jesus: “Depart from Me, you worker of iniquity–for I never knew you.”
The crushing weight of that millstone around his neck must be hard to ignore for Warren.
Todd,
Thanks for dropping in.
Your comment is very informative. You understand the apostate Warren — I could not have said it better.,

I am appalled by the downplaying of Christ in our current culture. We truly have become a “post-Christian” society where everything is tolerated… Except Christ and His eternal Word.
Rick Warren is NOT “America’s Pastor,” every believer needs a local New Testament Church for a church home and a personal pastor to “feed the flock of God,” not some watery mega-teacher such as Rick Warren.
