After spending a considerable amount of time last night looking for articles from prominent pastors and evangelists who had taken a public stand against COVID “vaccine” mandates, I came away feeling pretty empty.
I found quite a few articles by pastors promoting the shots, and a few by pastors who were opposed to them. But, I did not find any promoters of the shots willing to strongly, and publicly oppose the concept of “vaccine mandates” to be able to engage in everyday life.
John 12:42-43: Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue: For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.
The electronic “public square” has become the “synagogue” that the leaders of professing christendom seem to treasure. It is worth noting that US churches received billions of dollars in government handouts for financial hardships associated with various lockdowns, and most also are registered for 501c3 (tax-exempt) status.
In conducting my research, I came across a concerted effort called “Christians ? and the Vaccine”, which is an amalgam of worldly “church” leaders designed to push vaccinations in the “evangelical” community.
The group is led by an outfit called “Redeeming Babel,” in partnership with the National Association of Evangelicals, COVID Collaborative, Values Partnerships, ad COUNCIL, and Public Square Strategies. The site includes testimonials from such notables as Robert Jeffress (Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church of Dallas, TX), Bishop Scott Jones (Resident Bishop, Texas Annual Conference, United Methodist Church), Dr. Jamie Aten (Executive Director, Humanitarian Disaster Institute, Wheaton College), Rich Stearns (President Emeritus, World Vision), and A.D. Beacham (General Superintendent, International Pentecostal Holiness Church).
In addition to the toxic, worldly, ecumenical stew that the group represents, the site also includes a “Pastor’s Toolkit” to help pastors to indoctrinate their individual congregations.
Whether or not one chooses to receive a medical treatment should be a matter of informed consent, not propaganda and coercion.
I am appalled to see so few pastors taking a strong, public advocacy AGAINST “vaccine” mandates and FOR individual medical choice and human dignity.
The complicity of churchianity in the destruction of civil rights throughout this pandemic is sad, but not surprising. After all, there are precious few that even get the gospel straight, and even fewer that are willing to take a stand against tyranny.
Notes From A Retired Preacher 
Many of the pastors who have become active in the pro-vaccination movement have also become self-appointed gatekeepers to religious exemptions.
No man can validate what another person believes. They may be able to provide an opinion as to whether an expressed belief has biblical support, but they cannot tell you what another person believes.
Instead of bloviating about religious exemptions, these guys should take a firm, unequivocal stand for human and civil rights, bodily autonomy, and informed consent.
It is their lack of basic decency and complicity in helping evil people institute authoritarianism that has created the environment that causes people to seek exemptions in the first place.

Phil – We know this is about power, control, money and evil. It’s confusion, like what we saw last year with the killing, stealing and destruction. Just like the enemy.
I have been praying for Biden. I also pray he’ll totally turn and do the right thing. It can happen.
Phil, I agree completely that none of owes anyone an explanation if we choose to not get the shots, nor is it anyone’s business whether or not we have gotten the shots.
I do not believe that most of our leaders have our best interests at heart, but it is good to pray for them. And, it is good to pray that God would continue to reach people with the gospel.

It may surprise some, but from what I have seen Israel is not a democracy in the sense we believe. Just look at the draconian covid restrictions.
I am not a fan of this pastor, but David Jeremiah gave a no-holds-bared sermon telling the truth about the true Marxist intentions of the progressive socialist left in the USA.
I personally feel it is my God given right not to get the covid vaccine if I don’t want to, and I don’t need to give any reason for refusing it. It is my Constitutional right to refuse it.
Keep praying for the unsaved to come to Christ especially Biden. And keep praying we will not loose our precious God given Constitutional liberties.

Robert Jeffress, and Franklin Graham have the blood of many on their hands. Most importantly we know is their false gospel. Secondarily, they have helped support the biggest power grab and invasion of a person’s medical decisions in the most disgraceful way. But they are wolves, what can I expect I guess. As my kids face losing their jobs, and people I love and so many nurses I know who are fighting this but facing no income (one doctor laid down his stethoscope last year when this all started).
I keep praying for the Lord to keep His people, we will suffer, and we know be persecuted, but I am concerned for those who will now take it to protect their families because of their livelihood, risking themselves instead.

My comment: Robert Jeffress seems to easily pivot between coalescing with liberal public advocacy groups to promote COVID vaccines and coalescing with conservative politicians. And, Jeffress also endorsed Greg Laurie’s false gospel “Harvest” event. Politics does indeed make strange bedfellows…
William, I believe I have one for California, but I believe you can get it for all the states on the gab link. The Liberty counsel lawyer made it clear, it’s good to get them from your own employer’s site if necessary. Praying for success, and for these pushing it to be brought down from their positions.

Thanks for the information on Liberty Counsel. I have already filed a medical exemption to my employer with a note from my primary care physician. I sent my e-mail along with my doctor’s note to the director of my department. The director e-mailed me back saying that my request will be reviewed by the human resources department. I noticed that Liberty Counsel has 3 locations, namely in Washington D.C., Orlando, Florida, and Lynchburg, Virginia, but nothing for California where I’m at.

Justin – I was at a neighborhood sports bar/restaurant we go to. And we don’t sit inside, don’t like the noise. We had someone ask to sit with us, a couple, the tables were full and we said yes. The conversation led to the V. She started whispering and asked if we had gotten it.
I said very firmly, No, and I will not get it. I am not anti-vax, but I am pro-informed, and I did do my own personal homework. I have many reasons why I will not take it, but the coercion and the people who think it is O.K. to somehow force others to take the shot is just evil. Anyone who thinks like that is not thinking at all. All it takes for someone to disagree with their position and force them to take something else. Or Government shutting off your power, or your healthcare, or your social security, or being able to buy Groceries etc.
So I told her I think even if people have gotten it, they have to be decent enough to know forcing someone is never o.k. and that I’m not going to stay silent about it.

Justin, agree. The hatred is almost visceral. But, we have to remember, it is being intentionally fomented by politicians and their corporate/media acolytes. They are pushing all of the right psychological buttons: primarily fear and false virtue. They are using every tool in the propaganda campaign, including bandwagon, fear of missing out, experts, celebrities, and even spiritual leaders.
Yes, we need to rely on Christ to deliver us through this.
It is truly bizarr-o world now. Reading some of the comments on articles where it talks of people questioning the vaccine is pretty alarming. It seems most are fully indoctrinated and have a real hatred for those of us who don’t support mandates. And I admit that I have shyed away from mentioning things online about the vaccine, because off all the negative attention it attracts as well. But we shouldn’t be silenced or fearful (myself included) We have to rely on Christ to see us through until the end!

Please pray for me. Today I received an e-mail from the public school superintendent mandating that all public school employees including teachers and staff be fully vaccinated where the deadline date is September 7, 2021. The only exceptions to this would be either a religious or medical exemption. Initially, in the news during the 1st week of August 2021, the narrative was that the public school district would not be mandated to take the vaccine, but just yesterday, our California governor Gavin Newsom has overriden that and has made it mandatory. Gee, “thanks” governor.
I am submitting both a medical and religious exemption from my primary care physician and from a pastor in my state. Please pray for me. If both don’t work, then I’ll most probably have to hire a human rights attorney for help. If that fails, I will either get fired or quit on my own just like the physicians and nurses who left Houston Methodist Hospital. I would rather lose my job of 32 years than take the jab. If I lose my job, so be it. I’ve already discussed this with my wife and son and they are on the same page with me as they are not taking the jab either. I am NOT taking that poisonous jab, period. Praise God!

Here in Canada they threw some pastors in jail.
The government could not prove that wearing mask’s was effective nor the lock down in court. All charges were dropped and now the pastors are suing the government.
A new poll out today from Fox News reports that half of Americans believe vaccine passports and that protecting the safety of Americans trumps the freedom of Americans to make their own decisions about whether or not to take the vaccines.

PS several other pastors I know of who publicly oppose all of this: Pastor Barry Stagner from Calvary Chapel Tustin, pastor Jack Hibbs from Calvary Chapel Chino Hills, the pastor from Rise Church in San Marcos California, John MacArthur, and numerous others, all of whom refused to close the doors of the church during lockdowns and have stood up Faithfully not only to preach the truth of the Gospel in every opportunity, but also to take a stand against tyranny.
Thank you for saying this! These names don’t surprise me. It is so sad how the enemy is deceiving so many but honestly it is the progression of Romans chapter 1, even in the church. When we don’t love God and His word, even as supposed Christians, and when we are unthankful, eventually he will give us over to our own depravity. The Bible doesn’t say that the enemy will come in with a spirit of delusion that people will believe a lie, it says God will pour out that spirit. Why? Because we didn’t want the truth. And yet praise God, there is a Remnant. One who sees past covid and every other buzzword and agenda, passed both hyper patriotism and social justice Warriors, and gets to the heart of the Gospel.
The Great Commandment and the Great Commission have not changed! Not in any age, not under any government, not during any plague. As Solomon said, “There is nothing new under the sun.”
Thank you Jesus that through your word we can have wisdom in these last days to glorify you through and in any situation, scenario or anything else. Thank you that amidst false leaders, you are the Good Shepherd! You give Your life for the sheep! May we have Your same heart!

One pastor I know does oppose mandatory vaccines and his name is Brandon Holthaus of Rock Harbor Church in Bakersfield, California. Another is Pastor Billy Crone of Las Vegas. His ministry is called “Get A Life Ministries, Inc.
