He is the Life:
John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.”
He enters the city, victoriously receiving the praise of His people.
John 12:13 With joy they “Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet Him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.”
He is later betrayed.
Matthew 20:18 “Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn Him to death,”
He is tried, condemned and scourged.
Matthew 27:26 “Then released he Barabbas [the robber] unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered Him to be crucified.”
He is mocked as He hung on a cruel Roman cross.
Matthew 27:40 “…. save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross.”
He is declared dead, removed from the cross and buried in a tomb.
John 19:30 “When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, He said, IT IS FINISHED: and He bowed His head, and gave up the ghost.” John 19:34 “But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced His side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.” Matthew 27:59-60 “And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed.”
Three days later He is absent from the tomb, having risen under His own power.
John 20:1 The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre. Mark 16:6 “And he [an Angel] saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: HE IS RISEN; He is not here: behold the place where they laid Him.”
He is seen , believed on by hundreds and ascends into Heaven.
1 Corinthians 15:6a “After that, He was seen of above five hundred brethren at once;” 1 Timothy 3:16 “And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.”
This is Jesus the Christ, God in the flesh who died in your place that you may have Heaven forever.
1 Cor. 15:3-4 “For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”
Now, what should be our decision?
John 3:16-17 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Please believe in Jesus Christ alone to be YOUR Savior. He died for you, in your place and offers to you, eternal life as a free gift. If you trust Him alone, you will pass from eternal death to eternal LIFE in Christ.
Now, from death to life. Truly, “IT IS FINISHED” by Jesus Christ Himself. Our salvation is eternally secure in Him alone.
“But,” you say, “I have already trusted Christ as my Savior.”
Wonderful, then tell a friend about Christ!

Thanks Norma. He is Worthy!!
Yankee,
Copy all you like — you see it is very little from me — most is “Thus saith the Lord.”
Readers, you should go to Yankee’s web site. He has a great book “Gospel Driven Man” that is a great read.

He Is Risen–Praise God
Hi Jack
Thanks for the precious memories. I don’t believe you are a retired preacher; you have just changed your position on the firing line. You’re still putting out some good ammunition. You have been like a rock in your stedfastness. I hope you don’t mind if I copy your outline for tomorrow.
Love you Jack
Thanks Richard,
But the Gospel, not Jack, is the power of God in salvation… to the Jew first and then the Gentiles…
I am only a cracked vessel..
In Christ eternally, ExP(Jack)
The Bible says that the Angels in Heaven Rejoice when one person comes to salvation. I am absolutly sure that Jack has caused the Angels to break out in song many, many many times. The Bible also says that “they who turn many to righteousness (salvation), shall shine as the stars forever and ever.” I am sure that Jack will be one of the brightest!!!!!!!!

Thanks to all of you who have commented so far, Al, David, Gene, Pam, Ray Dukes, Stan and family, Pam and especially the second “Ray” commenting, Ray Stanford. All should visit his web site.
I am grateful to him because it was Ray (now 90 years young) who spoke the Gospel message so clearly, lovingly and succinctly that even I could understand it. He invited me to trust Christ as my Savior and I made that decision at a Christmas Concert in 1964. I have never regretted it…!!
Thanks Ray Stanford.. for all eternity,
ExP(Jack)
Thanks so much for the reminder of the Easter message. We are enjoying some relaxed and focused time with our family. Interestingly, we were discussing the meaning of Easter with our kids today at breakfast and reminding ourselves of how Jesus has changed our lives and our behavior and attitude toward each other and others should reflection of what he has done for us.
Happy Easter!

Dear Friends.
This should be filed and studied for answers to Scriptural Questions
This is not the “Pious Piffle” that is so often sent out.
It is the best I have seen and it should be passed on to everyone you can.
Many will be saved for eternity if you do this.
So many need the answers that are on the right hand side of Jack and Shirley’s testimony [Gospel web site].
For souls,
Ray

Thank you for the most beautiful Easter message. They are words of encouragement for all who will accept.
Thank you for the encouragement. We are in a sin-sick world and the only cure is: “A living Christ for a dying world.”
May God bless you as you continue your adventure for Him!
Hi Jack,
Thanks for the message. We do praise God for the encouragement and hope the resurrection gives us. This will be my 36th time that I’ll look at Easter differently, recognizing that it is indeed a very special day to celebrate.
Praise the Lord, bro. Jack! I agree with bro. Al, I never tire of those wonderful words of Life either!
I love to tell the story, for those who know it best
Seem hungering and thirsting to hear it like the rest.
And when, in scenes of glory, I sing the new, new song,
’Twill be the old, old story that I have loved so long. –William G. Fischer
Praises be to God for the gift of His Son! Wonderful words of life Jack, I never tire of hearing them. Thank you for the gospel message at this precious time of year. Blessing to you from the Safford house.
