Today I am taking a little side trip from concentrating on Bible Doctrine into the realm of Christian awareness and warnings of what we may expect in the future.
We wonder “Why” on several news items!
Obama’s State Department sends condolences and apologies to the Khan family for killing their son, American citizen Samir Khan, publisher of “Inspire” magazine the radical terrorist media arm of American Anwar Al Alwaki’s Yemeni Islamic Terrorist network. This is virtually unknown to the Mainstream Media. Samir Khan and Alwaki were killed by a drone rocket attack while they traveled together in Yemen. One wonders why Kahn, Alwaki and Osama Bin Laden were killed instead of being captured and interrogated. Suppose they knew more than we do about some of our politicians? Just wondering.
And then we see Michelle Malkin report on a Christian Pastor, Youcef Nadarkhani, father of two sons and a convert from Islam to Christianity, being convicted of renouncing Islam and sentenced by the Iranian Supreme Court to be hanged. He refuses to deny his Christian faith. It is appalling that we see Iran, a contributing member in good standing of the corrupt United Nations, condemning and murdering a Christian for his faith. Beware Americans, Islam is coming to a neighborhood near you.. and is being welcomed by Liberal churches in the name of what they call “Chrislam.“
And we see the Coptic Catholics in Egypt (formerly protected by the government) now having their churches burned and members killed and mutilated. The terrorist Muslim Brotherhood, at one time praised by President Obama, taking the lead in installing an Islamic terrorist Sharia government in Egypt. A friend of mine spent years evangelizing those Coptics in Cairo. We should be praying for the safety of those who trusted Christ as their Savior and that more Egyptians will believe in Christ as their Savior.
Weird. Reformed Calvinist Pastor praises Leftist billionaire and Zen Buddhist Steve Jobs for his contribution to Christianity through Apple innovations. And why does Rush praise Liberal Steve Jobs for his products when Jobs send millions of jobs to China where Apple products are made. Ironically, Jobs and his partner Steve Wozniac “stole” the Apple Graphical User Interface (GUI) from Xerox at their PARC facilities.
One wonders why the Wall Street Occupiers (unregenerate kids of the 60s hippies) have been so highly praised by Obama, leftist politicians and the media, especially when evidence is that Leftist George Soros’ money, labor union leaders and various Communist and Marxist organizations are the backers. We see Marxist Michael Moore there making a documentary of his dream come true. One might wonder who is feeding and paying these hundreds of people, claiming poverty while organizing their groups with high priced cell phones and playing their expensive tom-toms and guitars. Have we seen any of the mega churches in the New York area sharing salvation in Jesus Christ through street evangelism, telling them the Truth of Jesus Christ? Those kids are searching for “something” and need Jesus Christ.

Dear friends,
The despicable comment from “dzul” has been deleted. He is from Indonesia and apparently an Islamist. He has been blocked.
We appreciate commenters from across the world who wish to comment respectfully — but this was NOT one of those. I apologize that our spam catcher did not catch him before some of you received it in your email.

Note:
Just came into my InBox from Conservative PowerlineBlog.com, They found a Craigs List ad from the (Communist) Working Families Party (affiliated with other Leftist groups including ACORN) — looking to hire protesters for the Occupy Wall Street and offering $350-650 a week. Now we know at least that part.

Come to think of it – did the Tea Party ever get paid for their participation?
No, if fact many had to take their vacation and sick days to get involved.
Faith,
You are right — Tea Partiers are an all volunteer “army.”

I didn’t know Steve Jobs was a Zen Buddhist. Mr. Clean’s TV commercial has mentioned the “Zen Master.” Other TV commercials talk about or show people doing yoga. I take note of those products being advertised and won’t buy them.
The world is becoming a darker, more evil place. I look forward the day when we rule and reign with Jesus and there won’t be any darkness anywhere because the devil will be bound (WOOOHOOO!!!) and the radiance of Christ’s glory will be so bright. Wow!!
Marcella,
Before I trusted Christ as my Savior, I studied some Zen Buddhism.. At that time I liked the mysterious. Had no idea of the danger.. but I gave it up pretty soon after starting the study. It was Hokum.
And I would like to be taken up in the Rapture maybe tonight?? See y’all there whenever it happens.

Chrislam is a new one on me, Jack. I once had a client who needed operating capital but his “investor” was a man he thought might have Mafia connections. I discussed some of the ins and outs of corporate control with him and asked him who would have 51% or more of the stock. It focused his attention on what had been a hidden issue before and he knew he was in for a rough ride if he hooked up with that investor. He didn’t take the man’s money.
One would think that any Christian pastor who has not recently gotten back from a long trip to the Andromeda constellation would know that something is just a bit “not right” about Islam and avoid embracing it precipitously. That’s not the case, it seems.
Pope Benedict recently gave a speech about having mutually respectful relations with Muslims. I was very discouraged to see him forgo yet ANOTHER opportunity to tell the truth to Muslims about how unacceptable Islam is to civilized people. I think he actually knows better but is choosing an expedient path, perhaps to keep more Christians in Muslim lands from being killed or persecuted. The Archbishop of Canterbury, on the other hand, is a disgraceful noodlehead, Completely without backbone when it comes to the gigantic differences between Islam and Anglicanism.
Hey Jack you could also put with that Chrislam a cup of Mormonism. Mormonism and Islam have close similarities.
Hi Faith,
Fascinating observation about the similarities of the two belief systems, Mormonism and Islam. I can think of a few off the top of my head:
–Subjugation of women
–A history of teaching the existence of many gods, yet currently claiming to worship only one.
–A denial of the deity of Christ Jesus (true of all cults and false religions): to LDS, Jesus is a “shower of the way,” an “elder brother,” etc; to Islam, he is a prophet who will one day publicly promote Allah.
Richard,
Thanks for dropping in and commenting.. Noting that you are new to our web site, we pray you will return.
Yes, Chrislam is probably more prevalent than any of us realize. Searching the web for the word, we get 232,000 replies. Rick Warren and other Emergent leaders advocate some form of cooperation with the horrible man-made religion of Islam. Some of the love for Chrislam has been hatched out of a misguided desire for “just-get-along” ecumenism and for others like the Pope it is an ignorant bid for power. Sorta like trying to train a Viper to be a pet for one’s baby.
Faith and Bruce,
Yes, Faith, we could add that “cup of Mormonism” as you say. And the similarities Bruce mentions between Islam and Mormonism are startling. Like Islam’s Dhimmitude (submitting to Islamic tenets over a fear of criticizing Islam) we marvel at the controversy and condemnation that erupted after a Southern Baptist preacher honestly labeled Mormonism a cult at a political rally this week.. He did not back down, but no doubt all candidates at the debate tonight will either praise Mormons/Mormonism or refuse to answer for fear of castigation and intimidation (Mormon Dhimmitude??) . The truth rarely reigns in the political arena.

The term “chrislam” is an oxymoron. Reminds me of those ridiculous co-exist bumper stickers which someone had the common sense to analyze and show it for the stupid idea it really is via the similar illustration “co-exist?“.
But, alas, such is the baffling blindness of the world…(aka “the mystery of iniquity” at work)…
Pearl,
You are completely right. “Chrislam” reminds me of the hunter who went out to kill a hungry bear. The hunter found and confronted the bear and told him, “All I want is a nice warm coat.” The bear answered, “Well all I want is a good meal. We can co-exist.”
So the bear attacked and ate the hunter. As the bear walked away, he said, “I got my meal and you got your fur coat.. now we co-exist.”
In Christ eternally, Jack
Jack- lol
Good story!
And there you have it!
And the same can be said for “Compromise” whether moral, political or “religious.”
To Co-exist with error is to Compromise.
As Pearl said, “the mystery of iniquity” at work)…
Narrow-minded??? Yep!!!
In Jesus Christ eternally, Jack
Yep Jack once you compromise you are headed for “bridges to nowhere”.
Take the narrow road.
King James Bible (Cambridge Ed.)
Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls
jeremiah 6:16
And I pray daily for wisdom, as we read in James 1:5, that I and we will continue on the True Biblical path of God’s Grace.
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
In Christ eternally, Jack
Amen! Compromise & wickedness abound today bro. Jack, but why should anyone be surprised, the Bible says as much (2 Tim.3:1-5). Of course we are not surprised, only saddened, but also encourgaged to continue fighting the good fight of faith, & brothers & sisters, may I just be a little candid: it IS a fight. The enemy sometimes bears down so hard that it is tempting to give up, but then I remember WHO it is that called us to be soldiers, & it is worth it all & more! I love our Lord Jesus Christ, but only because He FIRST loved me. God Bless you all, it is a joy to know you & be your brother!!
Bruce-
Can you do me a favor and email me? I have to ask you a question and I don’t think I still have your email.
In case you don’t have mine anymore either, I think you just get mine from me commenting?…

Hi, Pastor Jack
I had some jewelry repaired and the owner of the shop helped me. I noticed the big gold cross hanging from her neck had a diamond pave Islamic crescent soldered to the top of the cross! She’s American and her husband is Lebanese and must be Muslim and I guess they think that’s ‘CUTE’…CHRISLAM PERSONIFIED> ugh
I hope you’re doing well. xxx blessings, me
Jack,
Your “bear” story is priceless! It reminds me of another bear story that I heard:
Two men were fishing at a lake in Alaska when a huge grizzly bear came lumbering toward them. “Run for your life,” one of the men cried. The other man replied, “What? Do you think that you can outrun a bear?” “No,” the first man replied. “I only have to outrun you!”
To see a Democrat bear:

Hi Z,
Thanks for dropping in again. Yes we are doing well. However, Heaven is more inviting every day. How are you? Think of you often.
Your story of the cross and the crescent is a vivid image of Chrislam. But worse than the image is the reality of appeasing “Christian” Pastors adopting the idea for their congregations to worship with and in harmony with Islamists.
I can’t imagine what their motive must be unless they have no clue about Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for each of us. Islam contradicts that totally.
In Jesus Christ eternally, Jack
Bruce, good story.. and the Democrat bear is priceless.
In Christ, Jack
Loved “Bearack Obearma”, Bruce! Speaking of Democrats, here’s one of my favorites…
Pearl, Great video..

Bruce and Pearl-
HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!
JanH
Loved the video and Bearack!
Since we are on a roll- how about this one.
Relativism and liberal theology at its best!!
Great video! haha!
Here’s a true and scary bear story! My cousin and her husband were in AK this summer. They were sitting on a hill eating some berries. They got up and turned around, and there was a bear and two cubs coming towards them. My cousin waved her arms and yelled, “We’re you’re friends, bear! We’re your friends!” The bear turned around and ran away. Wow! Gives me goose bumps to think about this!
When I was in MT a few years ago, there were signs that had a bear on them and said, “Welcome to Montana, where you can have lunch and be lunch on the same day!”
Faith, Great video — I have discussed theology with some of those Balloon folks.
Marcella, that is a dire warning..
In Christ eternally, Jack
Thanks Faith,
Sobering video; it would be a good one to show to Christian youth.
Bruce
That was a great video, Faith. Very clever crew! But, c’mon, everybody knows that balloon was pink
!
Naw, that balloon was rainbow, one color for everyone!
We need to read our Bible and be discerning in these times that we live in or we will be devoured by the roaring lion, the devil!
Dear friends,

Hey, how come my post was removed?
Hi Marcella,
That wasn’t about you. Jack and I always welcome and have enjoyed your posts. Unfortunately your post was linked to and mentioned another post that it was decided to be inappropriate. We had the other individual on moderation for quite some time, but somehow he or she slipped it in a side door. Again, this was no sleight to you.
